Martin Söderström lives in Uppsala, Sweden. He has been riding bikes for 8 years now. Back in 2007, he won the Nordic Championships in slopestyle. Shortly after this success a video showing his amazing street and slopestyle riding skills got posted on youtube and impressed people a lot.

In 2008 Söderström had his international breakthrough. He rode at various dirt and slopestyle contests in Europe and proved that he is right among the world's best riders. First he got 4th at the Nissan White Style contest, which was his first international competition ever, then 2nd at the Vienna Air King, to be followed by the win of the Nissan Qashqai Challenge stop in Munich. On top he got 2nd at the Adidas Slopestyle shortly after. At last year's Anti Days of Thunder he pushed the sessions massively and also got a cover in German's Mountainbike Rider magazine due to that. After 2008 the 20years old Swedish bike talent had even a better season in 2009. He was some kind of unstoppable, had no injuries and rode a whole bunch of different contests. He entered 10 international competitions and was on the podium on 9 of them - including six 1st places. Martin's 3rd place at the Kokanee Crankworx Slopestyle in Whistler was probably his biggest success in 2009 and he celebrated it in front of the big North American audience. He showed sick double tailwhips, 360-whips, truckdrivers and a lot more tricks and style during the whole contest. Martin dominated last year’s freeride season. For 2010 he has again certain goal to prove that he is again on top of everything. His kick off event for the season 2010 was the Vienna Air King in Austria’s capital and again he made his way to the podium with a 2nd place. After that successful start of the season, Martin was even seen a few more times on the podium like when he got first at the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds in Germany in April.
